Ferguut scribe

An anonymous scribe who was active in the middle of the fourteenth century in the duchy of Brabant and who copied a number of manuscripts containing Middle Dutch texts, most of which have only survived as fragments. She is named after one of the completely surviving manuscripts copied in her hand, Leiden, University Library, Ltk. 191, which is the only complete manuscripts of the Middle Dutch Ferguut. She may have been based in the city of Brussels.
