Jacob Panhausen
Jacob Panhausen was born in Opoeteren, in present-day Belgian Limburg, around 1500 and was educated in Liège and Cologne. From 1540 until his death in 1582 he was abbot of the Premonstratensian abbey of Steinfeld in Germany.
